Solution owner – Marketing Technology (CRM & Personalisation)

We’re looking for a Solution Owner – Marketing Technology (CRM & Personalisation)
to join our team and work full-time for one of our key clients. You’ll be embedded in their
marketing technology environment, helping them evolve and optimise how they use CRM,
automation platforms, and real-time decisioning tools.

What you'll do

You’ll be responsible for shaping and steering the evolution of the client’s MarTech
ecosystem — from roadmap to implementation. Your work will focus on two main tools:

  1. a CRM & marketing automation platform, and
  2. a real-time decisioning engine used to deliver personalised customer experiences.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Own the roadmap and evolution of the MarTech ecosystem
    Define and manage the strategic roadmap for both the CRM/marketing automation platform
    and the real-time decisioning engine, aligning with overall business objectives and
    technological capabilities.
  • Translate business needs into actionable requirements
    Capture, challenge, and document marketing and sales needs. Translate them into clear,
    actionable requirements or user stories, ensuring they provide value, are technically feasible,
    and fit within the existing architecture.
  • Lead project implementation and delivery
    Coordinate and support the end-to-end implementation of new features and improvements:
    from solution design validation and planning, to testing, rollout, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Understand and monitor the integrated system landscape
    Maintain a solid understanding of the client’s tools and ecosystem — including requesting
    applications, middleware, and content management — to support development, ensure
    alignment, and anticipate cross-system impacts.
  • Manage rules, offers, and logic in the decision engine
    Configure, maintain, and test rules and offer assignments within the decision engine. Ensure
    accuracy, stability, and business relevance by managing test environments and validating
    logic regularly.
  • Support operations and continuous improvement
    Monitor platform performance, proactively identify issues or inefficiencies, and support
    engineering teams with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system optimisations across
    both platforms.
  • Document and share knowledge
    Continuously document technical setups, functional logic, rule mechanisms, and business
    flows to ensure transparency, reusability, and effective onboarding. Stay informed about
    market trends and propose innovations that strengthen the platforms

 

All of these responsibilities are tightly linked to either the marketing automation/CRM
system or the real-time decisioning engine, depending on the need or use case.

Who we are looking for...

  • A strong understanding of marketing tools (e.g. CRM, marketing automation, real-time decisioning platforms, …) and their technical framework.

 

  • Hands-on experience in managing or contributing to MarTech projects (ideally 2+ years).

 

  • Interest in or experience with real-time decisioning, personalisation, and customer journeys.

 

  • Strong analytical and functional mindset; able to connect technical possibilities with business needs.

 

  • A natural collaborator who can speak the language of both marketers and developers.

 

  • Fluent in English and either Dutch or French.

  • Bonus points if you’re familiar with tools like, Salesforce, Unica Interact, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
